Who am I?

Hi. My name is Susan. I’m a Mom who teaches two wonderful girls at home. I love reading, writing, music, and technology. I’m a geek. I love to learn about PC maintenance, security, and how computers work.

I have a B.A. in Elementary Education and minors in Music and Spanish. I have 21 years of experience teaching in the public schools as both a regular teacher and a sub in grades Pre-K through 12th.

Our adventures in the homeschooling world began in the 90′s. I started teaching my children at home at an early age because they were ready and loved learning. Over the years we have used a variety of methods and resources for homeschooling including pre-made curriculum, classical homeschooling, traditional methods, Montessori and virtual schooling.
