Kids Can Learn Piano with These YouTube Channels

Hands on a piano - Kids Can Learn Piano with These YouTube Channels
Do you have a child who wants to learn piano?

Before you invest in piano lessons, you may want to check out some of the channels on YouTube. There’s a small collection of them that have videos for teaching children how to play piano. You can start with these to see if learning the piano is right for your child and THEN invest in something more.

I have a list of the channels for you below. They use a variety of methods. Most are taught by adults but one is the creation of an ambitious young girl. I suggest that you check them out ahead of time to decide which videos could work for your young pianist.

Kids Can Learn Piano

Hoffman Piano – This channel is designed to teach piano to elementary age children and covers posture, ear training, sight reading, improvisation, music theory and more.

KinderBach – This channel has a piano-based music curriculum that covers note recognition, patterns, rhythm, fingering for keyboard and tone intervals.

Mario Ajero – Children and adults can learn piano pedagogy and songs from Mario Ajero.

NandikaPianoLessons – Kids can get piano lessons from another kid on this channel.

I hope these YouTube channels help your kids learn piano. Know of anyone else who can use these videos? Feel free to share this post with them.
