When teaching your child to tell time, learning clocks can be your best tool. They can be used to demonstrate time telling concepts without the need to take your own clock off the wall. They are also the ideal hands-on tool your child can use to practice because they don’t break easily.
Learning clocks come in two varieties, the kind with free moving hands and the kind with gears. The geared type advances the hour hand automatically when the minute hand is moved.
These clocks don’t have to cost an arm and a leg. You can get one for under $20. I went looking for some for you recently and have them listed below.
