If you can’t find your dice or you need special dice like a ten-sided for a learning game, dice roller apps can save the day.
These apps have everything from d2 to d1000 dice. (If you aren’t familiar with the terminology, a ‘d’ followed by a number tells you how many sides a die has, i.e. a d4 is a 4-sided die.) There are even some with special dice that have colors and symbols. And don’t worry about the RPG and gaming references in some of them if they’re not your thing. These are still just apps that roll dice. By the way, some of these apps total the dice. You may or may not want that depending on the type of learning game your kids are playing.
You can use these apps for homemade learning games or games you have purchased. They work on iOS and/or Android devices.
