If you’re teaching your kids about the weather, you might want them to learn about blizzards, even if you don’t live in an area where they occur.
Unlike other winter storms, a certain set of conditions must be in place for a storm to be defined as a blizzard.
The videos that I have for you today define these conditions and also explain how and where these storms form. They also cover some important winter weather terminology such as snowpack, whiteout, and drifting snow.
