What Preschool Skills Do I Teach My Child?

Boy holding up painted hands - What Preschool Skills Do I Teach My Child?
If you’re not sure which preschool skills your child should master before starting kindergarten, I have a few posts for you today that have lists that you can take a look at.

Keep in mind that these lists are just guidelines. It’s up to you to decide what your child should learn in preschool. However, having a few lists of possible skills to be covered can help you decide what to teach your preschooler.

Teaching Practical Life Skills in Your Homeschool Preschool on Growing Hands-On Kids – This is the first in a series on teaching skills to toddlers and preschoolers. The others are listed in the post. Includes ideas for teaching skills.

Preschool Skills Checklist on Homeschool With Love – I have a skills checklist that includes personal, motor, social, language, and spiritual skills for your child.

Kindergarten Readiness Checklist on Teaching Mama – Angela has a printable list of skills children should master prior to beginning kindergarten.

Do you have some suggestions for preschool skills that should be mastered? Feel free to share them in the comment section.
