Who am I?
Hi. My name is Susan Brown. I’m a mom who taught two wonderful girls at home. They are grown now. I love reading, writing, music, and technology.
I have a B.A. in Elementary Education and minors in Music and Spanish. I have 21 years of experience teaching in the public schools as both a regular teacher and a sub in grades Pre-K through 12th.
Our adventures in the homeschooling world began in the 90’s. I started teaching my children at home at an early age because they were ready and loved learning. Over the years we have used a variety of methods and resources for homeschooling including pre-made curriculum, classical homeschooling, traditional methods, Montessori and virtual schooling.
What Is This Site
Learning Online Blog is designed to help you find the tips, resources and deals you need to homeschool your children. It has six growing directories that make it easier for you to find everything. Just click on one and you’ll find links to posts that have resources by category. The only exception to this is The Ultimate Directory of Homeschool Deals which is an ever-changing list of giveaways, discount codes, and deals that make homeschooling affordable.
Also on this site is a free Membership Area which will give you access to The COMPLETE Ultimate Directory of Free Educational Resources instead of the partial list you’ll find here.
