This week is Teacher Appreciation Week and TODAY (5/8/18) is Teacher Appreciation Day!
Homeschoolers are teachers too and that means that you can take advantage of some of the deals and treats that businesses are offering this week.
I have a list of special offerings for you today that you can look into. I can’t guarantee that you’ll be eligible for all of them because some of these deals are regional. Also, in some cases, you’ll need some form of proof to show that you are a homeschooler. (Like the 5 kids tagging along with you on a week day isn’t proof enough! 🙄 ) So you may want to call ahead to make sure you can get each deal.
By the way, some of these deals are for TODAY ONLY, so take a break from homeschooling to get a treat. In fact, two of the deals are for EVERYONE so your whole family can enjoy them.

Apple Stores for Education – Homeschoolers get special rates on Macs, iPads, and other accessories.
Chipotle Mexican Grill – Get a BOGO burrito, bowl, taco, or salad from 3pm to closing on May 8th, Teacher Appreciation Day. Homeschoolers must show a valid ID to participate.
Giordano’s – New and current members of Giordano’s email club get 20% off online orders on Tuesday the 8th.
Häagen Dazs – Here’s a special deal for everyone. May 8th is Free Cone Day for Häagen Dazs. Take your family between 4 and 8pm to get free mini-cones.
PDQ – Teachers get 50% off their entire order on Tuesday, May 8th.
